                                                5th Annual Video Contest Project
Coalition Mission: “Empower our community to choose a drug free lifestyle by uniting citizens and organizations to reduce/eliminate substance abuse among youth and adults.”
Coalition Vision: “Eliminate substance abuse today; dominate the future.”
The Drug Free Coalition of Hall County has pledged to aid in the reduction of substance abuse among youth and adults by addressing the factors in our community that increase the risk of substance abuse while promoting the factors that minimize the risk of substance abuse.  Underage drinking, tobacco, marijuana, and prescription drug abuse are our 4 substances of focus.
We have created the Face it…Youth Substance Abuse Prevention Video Contest to incorporate the youth in the Hall County community, both middle and high school students.  The contest is designed to provide middle and high school students the opportunity to create and deliver innovative and effective substance abuse prevention video messages to their peers and the greater Hall County community.  All submitted videos should address the following theme:  YOLO: Be Drug Free.  Marijuana Use Prevention is the video focus.
The 2016 theme for the video contest is: “YOLO:  Be Drug Free.”  The contest is open to individual or groups of either two middle or high schools students.  Prizes for first and second place middle and high school videos will be announced and awarded on December 6, 2016.
Complete rules and guidelines are posted on this website.  Participating students must complete the following documents:
