The Drug Free Coalition was originally developed through an organization that supported recovery efforts of individuals going through the Drug Court in Hall County.Several community partners were approached, and became the core group of partners for the Coalition and now serve as the steering committee. The Georgia Student Health Survey II is implemented in Hall County every year and provides prevalence rates for tobacco, alcohol, marijuana and prescription drugs as well as other types of drugs.
